Day 1 Arrive Kuala Terengganu
Arrive Kuala Terengganu Airport. Meet and transfer to Tanjung Jara Beach Resort.
Day 2 In Tanjung Jara
Free day at leisure. The resort offers excursions to the nearby Tenggol Island, which you may be interested to join. Otherwise, relax & enjoy the beach & the facilities of this wonderful resort.(Breakfast)
Day 3 Tanjung Jara – Kuantan
After breakfast, a short scenic drive along the coastal road will bring you into the state of Pahang and to Kuantan. You will see Malay villages built in kampung style and opportunity to sample a traditional delicacy - Lemang (Glutinous rice cooked in bamboo with coconut milk). Your journey continues passing Chukai known as Texas of Malaysia due to the discovery of natural gas. Arriving into Kuantan, you will be treated to a short tour of Kuantan town. Rest of the day at leisure. (Breakfast)
Day 4 Kuantan - Taman Negara
Transfer to Kuala Tembeling followed by boat to Kuala Tahan. Overnight at air-conditioned chalet at Taman Negara Resort. Slide presentation and Night Jungle Walk in the evening.(Breakfast/Dinner)
Day 5 In Taman Negara
Join in tours - Full day excursion to Bukit Teresek, Canopywalk and Lata Berkoh. Bukit Teresek (334 metres) can be reach in 45 mins and one can enjoy a panoramic view of Gunung Tahan and the forest canopy. The canopy walkway stretches about 500 metres and with a height of 30 metres, visitors have a rare opportunity to experience the wilderness from a vantage point. Lata Berkoh is a spectacular cascade that marks the limit of easy navigability on the river. There is a deep pool below the cascade and rocky area overlooking the rapids offers an ideal place to relax.(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 6 Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur
Early morning, depart Kuala Tahan by boat to Kuala Tembeling. Transfer to Temerloh for a rest stop before travelling to Kuala Gandah - Elephant Conservation Centre. Upon arrival, there will be a 30-min documentary video highlighting the activities of this centre. Later, you can have the opportunity to ride & bath with the semi wild elephants. Return to Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon. (1800 hrs) Drop off at Kuala Lumpur City Hotel only. (Breakfast)
